Cordaid – Aceh Programme was established in terms of assisting survivors of 2004 tsunami in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), from the period of the emergency time until the current process of reconstruction and rehabilitation phase.
The Programme Support Office is located in Medan, the Capital City of North Sumatra Province, where coordination, liaison and logistic operation are headquartered. The support from Medan applies to Cordaid’s Field Offices, in Lhokseumawe and in the Island District of Simeulue, both within the Province of NAD. The Project Management of Seunuddon is operating from Cordaid’s Lhokseumawe Project Office.
